Hello, it’s Claire here. I’m the Beauty Therapist in Bread Street, and I’m the longest serving team member here – I have been with Medusa Bread Street since we opened in November 1998.
I trained at the prestigious Mary Reid School of Beauty, as well as furthering my studies with an ITEC Massage Diploma, St Tropez Tanning and Pulsar IPL Hair Reduction.
When I first entered the Beauty Industry I was most passionate about nails and chose to specialise in this area. I focused hard and secured a place on the notorious ‘Creative Nail Design Bootcamp’ this is an intensive training course to become an Educator in Nail Enhancements and Ambassador for Creative Nail Design. This was the hardest course I have ever undertaken, and I was overwhelmed to receive the Award for ‘Best Overall’ in my Class. As an Educator for Creative Nail Design I received the ultimate training in this area, and to this day still believe I’m using the finest possible products.
After 10 years in the Beauty Industry I decided to enhance my skills so in March 2006, I undertook a week long Make Up Course in London with MAC Cosmetics.
I do so many wonderful treatments in the salon it’s hard to narrow them down to a favourite, but I would thoroughly recommend the Creative Nail Design Spa Pedicure – once you’ve had one, you’ll book another, and the range of Thalgo Facials are also fantastic.
