I’m getting the gist of Social Networking you know; in fact you’d think I’ve been on Frenchies Reunited or something. Watch this space, you might see me fronting a Medusa Facebook page soon!
I had a very emotional reunion with my mum Sophie and sister Lara recently. You know, I haven’t seen my mum since October 2008 when I left home to live with Colin and Claire. It was great to catch up with them and my breeders Tom and Nonna. They say I’m an excellent example of the breed and that I should enter a dog show! That would be a teeny bit nerve racking so we’ll have to wait and see.
For some of you admirers out there I need to break some news. I now have a boyfriend! His name is Gizmo and he is very handsome, he’s just a couple of months older than me, and of course, he’s a French Bulldog too. On our first date went for a walk round the Meadows, which was really lovely. Since then we have been down to the beach at Yellow Craigs and also for a wee drink or two down Broughton Street!
I’ve also embraced the great outdoors recently. Colin and Claire took their niece Kaitlyn and nephew Michael camping at Strathyre. This was a special treat for them during their school holidays. Of course I was there too and what a strange experience this was as we were sleeping in tents!! I’m so used to my home comforts but it was really good to get all that great fresh air and long walks by Loch Lubnaig. As you know it’s good for me to relax and get away from all the business of the salon. I’m such a busy little dog!
I had my first birthday on Saturday 22 August 2009. It was a lovely day with cake and candles and pressies for me. I got really spoiled by everyone, it was awesome!
Grant Stott gave me lots of cuddles when he was having his hair done with Colin at the Teviot salon. It was so strange though clients kept asking him for pairs of his ‘pants’! I’ve no idea what that was all about. I was a bit bored though as all he and Colin were talking about were Hibs – yawn… I’m a bit like Claire here, I don’t do football – I much prefer shopping!
Talking of shopping, check out our new range of Sebastian Professional products in salon now. Hip and glamorous for fearless styling, there is a Sebastian product for everyone and every style. I may not look like I style my hair a lot but seriously, I know never to underestimate the power of your styling products. It really is all in the finishing touches.
Oh, if you’re jetting off on a winter break, don’t forget to book in for a Minx treatment with Claire. It’s an amazing new nail treatment, exclusive to Medusa in Edinburgh and keeps your nails looking uber glam for over four weeks. If I was allowed to have mine done, I’d definitely go for the metallic cheetah print. Beach anyone?
